George and Dorie Szabolcsi have served in ministry for over 41 years which includes 14 years as missionaries to Eastern Europe. Their work in missions has taken them to many parts of the world for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Since 2005, they have served as Pastors of the Apostolic Church of Belleville. They have four children and five grandchildren. Pastor Szabolcsi is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville receiving his degree in Secondary Education. His passion for teaching is at the heart of his ministry, whether it is introducing new believers to basic Bible doctrine and principles or conducting more intensive Bible training for prospective church leaders.

 

Pastor Szabolcsi feels that his assignment from God is to “feed the people of God with knowledge and understanding” (Jeremiah 3:15). That is, teaching biblical content in a way that is relevant and making difficult concepts easier to understand. Through the teaching of God’s Word, we can fulfill our vision for the local church: Knowing God. Loving People. Changing Lives.
